Description

The Beatles "Yesterday" White Matte Gold Sales Award Presented to Capitol Records. Held nicely in a white matte and wood frame, this was for the poignant and mature tune Paul McCartney originally called "Scrambled Eggs." According to the plaque in the bottom center portion: "Presented To / Capitol Records / To Commemorate the Sale of More Than / One Million Copies of the / Capitol Records / Pop Single Record / 'Yesterday'." Measures 13 ¼" x 17 ¼". In Very Good condition with scratches and scrapes on the frame, along with tearing on the backing paper. COA from Heritage Auctions.
