The Velvet Underground and Nico Promo Mono Vinyl Record LP (Verve, V-5008). A mono promo copy of the classic debut LP of the Velvet Underground, joined by Nico, in spectacular condition. The banana sticker is still intact. The later-retracted picture of Eric Emerson is on the back cover in its original state, sans air-brushing or a black sticker. Has yellow stickers on the disc, denoting "Disc Jockey Record / NOT FOR SALE."

Seen as one of the biggest gateways to a half-dozen subgenres, the 11 tracks range from absolutely beautiful to confrontational and abrasive.
