FD-26 Grateful Dead 1966 "Skeleton & Roses" Second-Printing Avalon Concert Poster Graded 8.5. An official Family Dog second printing of the revered Grateful Dead "Skeleton & Roses" FD-26 San Francisco Family Dog concert poster. This is a totally vintage print, done in the Fall of '66. It had been designed that summer to advertise two nights of concerts on Friday and Saturday, September 16 & 17, 1966 at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco.

The Bindweed Press in S.F. was the printer, and Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley were the designers. And the collecting public just never, ever seems to lose its enthusiasm for this piece. It has been graded to 8.5 Very Fine Plus by CGC (the Certified Guaranty Company). Measures 14 1/4" x 20". COA from Heritage Auctions.
