Carl Perkins White Tailored Suit (Circa 1980). Iconic white two-piece satin suit includes (1) half-zip/v-neck western style jacket with flared cuffs, flared collar, and unique black embroidered embellishments and (1) matching pair of flared zip-up pants with hook closure. Jacket's embroidered features include a "C" on right collar, a "P" on left collar and black loop accents on chest, upper back and cuffs. Tailored specifically for influential musician Carl Perkins and retains original internal label reading "Specially Hand Made and Fashioned by Lou King." Perkins wore this dynamic suit during a concert appearance in Paris 1980. Photos and articles of his Paris show included in lot. Suit exhibits minor staining, creasing, discoloration, and some seam wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
