Pink Floyd The Wall RIAA Gold Record Award (Columbia, 1979). A massive hit from the band's progressive rock opera masterwork The Wall, is instantly recognizable and one of the biggest Rock albums of the 1970s and 80s. The plaque beneath the gold disc states: "Presented to The Vinyl Works To Commemorate the Sale of More Than 500,000 Copies of the Columbia Records long playing record album "The Wall"
