Anne Parillaud "Queen Mother Anne" masquerade ball gown from The Man in the Iron Mask. (MGM, 1998) In the lavish modern production of The Man in the Iron Mask, Anne Parillaud plays "Queen Mother Anne", of Austria. Parillaud wears this elegant period dress in the memorable masquerade scenes in the film. Consisting of a period gown of blue silk with a fitted corset bodice with gold lace overlay at front and ornamented with rhinestones and silver beads, beige silk sleeves with lace cuff and a full skirt with train gathered at the hips. Includes a costume tiara with faux teardrop pearls and openwork metal pieces before a fine purple mesh. Staining to hem at left and light soiling above the hem at the front, else fine. Tiara measures 10.5 x 8 x 4 in. Small losses to tiara, all else near fine.
