Frances Fisher "Ruth Dewitt Bukater" tea suit and gloves worn in Titanic. (TCF, 1997) In the epic blockbuster Titanic Frances Fisher plays the fictitious character "Ruth Dewitt Bukater". While Bukater wasn't an actual historical figure, she moves amongst the rest of the elite passengers in the film, appearing in opulent fashion and accessories throughout. This is a lavish tea suit worn by Fisher in the deck strolling sequences of the film. Consisting of a vintage 2-piece skirt suit with (1) tan-colored ecru silk jacket with 3/4 - sleeves, beautiful floral embroidered embellishment at lapels, cuffs, down front and down back. With hook and loop closure and integral fabric belt and (1) full-length matching a-line skirt with ribbon waist and side hook and loop closure. Both garments retain the costumer's internal bias labels. Includes a screen-worn pair of soft tan opera gloves with wrist snaps. All in production used fine condition.
