In Tobe Hooper's 1974 horror classic The Texas Chain Saw Massacre five friends head out to rural Texas to visit the grave of their grandfather. On the way they stumble across what appears to be a deserted house, only to discover something sinister within. One by one they meet their doom at the hands of the chainsaw wielding Leatherface. The film would prove to be one of the most influential horror films of all time and would help usher in the slasher horror genre that blossomed in the 1980's.
