Description

Tom Hanks "Capt. Miller" helmet from Saving Private Ryan. (Paramount, 1998) This WWII-style Army helmet was worn extensively by Tom Hanks as "Capt. Miller" in the 1998 war epic, Saving Private Ryan. The helmet's outer shell is composed of painted fiberglass that was given a rough, knobby look to resemble stamped steel, and the inner shell features leather and canvas adjustment straps that show light signs of wear. There is some minor paint chipping on the outer shell, but the helmet remains in overall very good condition. Comes with a custom-made display stand and case. Obtained from film's costumer and comes with a letter of provenance.
