Compsognathus "Compy" screen-used puppet from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Compsognathus "Compy" screen-used puppet from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. (Universal, 1993) Ultra-realistic, non-animatronic 31 in. long Compsognathus stunt figure, life-sized dinosaur from The Lost World: Jurassic Park, consisting of foam rubber on wire and metal armature. This figure was featured in the memorable scene where the cruel "Stark" sadistically shocks one of these dinosaurs only to be descended upon and ultimately devoured by a pack of the small but deadly creatures. The figure was one of the "throwing dummies" for the swarming scene. Aluminum armature wire was added to the off-camera side to the figure to keep the neck from being too floppy. Exhibits some production wear evident, and one shoulder joint is broken. Otherwise, rubber and paint remain in good condition. Comes with an LOA from a Stan Winston Studio technician.
