Death Star piece from Star Wars: Episode VI- Return of the Jedi signed by George Lucas. (TCF, 1983) Segment of the Death Star from Star Wars: Episode VI- Return of the Jedi. Consisting of a cast resin shell filled with rigid polyurethane foam, sprayed primer gray then painted brick red. This puzzle-piece component of the Death Star measures 15 x 8 ½ x 2 in. The piece is signed faintly but legibly on the top by George Lucas. There is some chipping on the lower edges and production hot glue remnants on the foam bottom. Presents very well.
