Charlton Heston "Judah Ben-Hur" leather tunic from Ben Hur. (MGM, 1959) Vintage original brown sleeveless and collarless long leather tunic constructed of leather panels with intricate hand embroidered applique trim around neck and down front, with wraparound closure. Expertly studio distressed for the slave sequences at the beginning of the film. Retains adhesive residue where affixed studio costumers sticker label used to be. Screen worn and highly visible in promotional materials. Includes (1) color publicity print of Heston wearing this costume. Exhibiting age, studio distressing and soiling, production wear and handling. In vintage very good condition.
