Cessna 172 Skyhawk filming miniature from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. (Intermedia Films, 2003) Built by New Deal Studios, this is the miniature version of the Cessna 172 flown by "John Connor" (Nick Stahl) and "Kate Brewster" (Claire Danes) to the Crystal Peak nuclear bunker towards the end of the film. It was used to dress exterior shots of the bunker when the "Terminator" (Arnold Schwarzenegger) uses its hydrogen fuel cell to blow up the T-X. Wingspan of the model is 24 in. x 15.25 in. length. Detailed only on the starboard camera side. Exhibits production wear with paint loss and broken dorsal antenna.
