Original matte paintings (5) of European dwellings from various MGM films. (MGM, ca. 1941) Vintage (5) black and white matte paintings accomplished in pencil, gouache, chalk and charcoal on 28 x 22 in. black artist boards. Depicting various scenes of European manors, cottages, villas and grounds including: (1) Wild Man of Borneo (1941) and (4) Unidentified. Artfully atmospheric pieces with the hyperrealism of a technical illustration. Some paintings with scenic and tech notes in margins and some with spaces blacked-out for keying in of live-action. All exhibiting minor signs of production-use and age. All in vintage, very good condition.
