Marilyn Monroe "Rock Sitting 72" mammoth exhibition print by Milton H. Greene. (May 1954/printed later) Original inkjet 40 x 40 in. print on fiber-based baryta 310gsm photo paper. Milton loved using textured backgrounds, such as draped fabrics or natural landscapes. Taken at Laurel Canyon, Marilyn is nestled into a crevice and posed for this charming series of photos for Look magazine. Retaining photographer's estate stamp, signed by Joshua Greene, and hand edition numbered "2/7" on the verso. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. In fine condition.
