Power Rangers Samurai (Saban Brands, 2011-2012), Red Shogun Hero Costume and Action Accessory. Original (7) piece hero costume including (1) red fiberglass and resin samurai-style helmet with acrylic visor, latch closure, and a large, bladed gold-toned crown design that extends outward from the top of the head, (1) red and black quilted satin jumpsuit with attached red foam greaves and black foam thigh armor, (1) detached white foam collar, (1) red foam cuirass with attached red satin sleeves, silver foam cuffs, and large foam wing-shaped pauldrons with gold trim, (1) pair of red foam boots with silver-toned trim and black textured shafts, (1) black rope-like foam belt with gold-toned trim, foam Shogun Buckle, and 4-red foam attached skirt panels, and (1) double-edged foam Shogun Spear. Helmet measures 20" x 21" x 11". Spear measures 86" x 8" x 16". Components exhibit production wear, age, and may include studio repairs including damage to foam components. Helmet displays minor production wear. Due to weight and size, special shipping arrangements and prices will apply. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions. The Power Rangers series used suits, footage, and props from the Japanese Super Sentai show and combined them with its own unique storytelling techniques. Due to the nature of filming, suits worn by the principal cast of their respective Power Rangers seasons will be notated with their names in the title of the lot. For suits worn by the stunt team, we have omitted their names in the titles and indicated them as Hero or Action. There is a mix of stunt performer and main cast names in each costume lot.
