Star Wars Glasslite Droids C-3PO (Black Eyes) AFA 75+ Loose (Glasslite, 1988). Produced in Brazil under license from Kenner, this Glasslite Star Wars Droids C-3PO follows the same design as the U.S. release, differing only in its locally applied paint details and color palette. While Kenner's figure featured lighter yellow plastics and blue-gray accents, the Glasslite version is molded in a slightly deeper yellow tone with a darker blue waist and neck, a lighter brown chest circle, and distinctive black "crazy eyes" that give the figure its nickname among collectors. These subtle but noticeable differences reflect Glasslite's domestic materials and paint techniques rather than any major design departure. Graded AFA 75+ EX+/NM, this example is displayed in a clear acrylic case that highlights the strong color separation between the yellow body and the darker detailing around the waist and neck. As one of the final vintage-era international Star Wars releases, Glasslite's C-3PO bridges the gap between global production and animated nostalgia.
