Batman "Space Flyman" Lot (late 1970's). This lot of 3 "Space Flyman" figures is a great example of absurd unlicensed, bootleg figures. This group was found in Sweden many years ago and all share the same header card, but have different costumes. The clothed Batman and Robin figures share a similar style with the same plastic bodies, boots, chest emblems, and gold belts. Robin sports a blue and red outfit with green shorts and Batman wears all red except for a blue waist. Robin's cape is red while Batman's is light blue. Batman's head is a dark blue plastic with painted eyes and skin and has a paper bat symbol sticker on his forehead. Robin's head is a flesh color with painted hair, eyes, mask and lips. The third Batman uses the same head as the first with a completely different body. It is more of an in-action pose and has painted blue boots and gloves, cloth shorts, and a blue cloth cape. He has no chest symbol, but does have the same paper sticker on his forehead. His body is cast in a pink flesh color that resembles the wild picture on the header card. These are truly unique Batman specimens and conversation pieces for any collection. The three figures are new in the bags with header cards and do not seem to have been removed. The bags have wrinkles but no holes. The pink Batman's bag is also a bit dirty. There is some paint wear to his hands and feet, but that is likely due to the inferior spray paints they used on the figures.
