Star Wars Droids Land Speeder Trading/Greeting Card Art by Alice Carter (Topps, 1984-93). This vibrant and nostalgic Star Wars artwork by Alice Carter captures the beloved droid duo, C-3PO and R2-D2, joyfully cruising through Tatooine in Luke Skywalker's iconic Landspeeder. Originally created for a Star Wars greeting card with the cheerful message, "Blast off for the happiest birthday you've ever had," this mixed media piece showcases rich textures and dynamic brushstrokes that bring the desert landscape to life. The composition masterfully blends whimsy with adventure, making it a standout addition to any Star Wars collection. Adding to its significance, this artwork was later featured on card #76 in the Star Wars Topps Galaxy trading card series, which is included alongside the framed piece. Her illustration clients have included Lucasfilm Ltd., Rolling Stone magazine, The New York Times, and ABC Television. Her work has been exhibited nationally at galleries and museums such as the New York Society of Illustrators Museum of American Illustration, The Norman Rockwell Museum, the Art Institute of Houston, the Delaware Museum of Art, and the New Britain Museum.
