Batman Batgun in Box (Lone Star, 1960's) UK Exclusive Release. This Batman Batgun was manufactured by Lone Star in the 1960's exclusively for release in the UK market. They previously used the same mold for the Dan Dare Ray Gun, the Stingray Ray Gun, and a number of other die cast guns made by Lone Star. However, this was the first plastic gun to use the mold and the large black bats on both sides of the barrel were new additions. The gun is intended to take rolled paper caps that would sit inside and has a black plastic target finder at the top. This version comes boxed while the identical gun also came attached to a card. The gun comes in the box and is complete. The box's tape has dried so it is no longer sealed. The gun looks to be in good condition and complete. The box is solid in good condition but shows wear and has three spots with tape reinforcement. It displays well and is rare to find complete with the gun.
