The Devil's Own (Columbia, 1997), Brad Pitt "Frankie McGuire/Rory Devaney" Hero Smith & Wesson M5946 Pistol. Original metal 9mm Smith & Wesson M5946 hero prop featuring a gray metal frame with black plastic grips emblazoned with Smith & Wesson emblems. Manufacturing engravings read, "9mm Parabellum" on barrel and "Smith & Wesson / Springfield. MA U.S.A." on left side of slide. Serial # "TFJ8471 / Mod. 5946" can be found under the left slide stop of the gun. Used at the end of the film by Frankie McGuire - who goes under the alias Rory Devaney (Brad Pitt) - when he confronts Tom O'Meara (Harrison Ford). Firearm has been deactivated with slide, safety catch, and trigger unable to be manipulated. Measures 7.5" long. Exhibits general production wear to finish.
