Independence Day (TCF, 1996), Section of Space Column from Interior Mother Ship. Original section of a spaceship miniature, expertly crafted and painted in otherworldly grays by studio artisans. Hollow fiberglass interior piece features fine details and fiber optic lighting and is studio-distressed to evoke an otherworldly texture. This model is featured in the film's climax when Captain David Hillier (Will Smith) and David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) lead the final assault on the alien mothership. Measures approx. 50" x 8" x 1.5" and exhibits minor production wear. Obtained from Twentieth Century Fox. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
