Cecil B. DeMille Exhibitors of Mexico Award Pairing of Framed Certificate and Gold-Hued Coin. Vintage Cecil B. DeMille award pairing including (1) "Exhibitors of Mexico" award certificate rendered in oil on art paper secured in ornate, Aztec-inspired wood frame measuring 29.25" x 23.25" and (1) gold-hued metal coin bearing DeMille's profile wearing a laurel wreath accented with faux diamonds measuring 3.25" in diameter. The coin is presented in a blue velvet covered box measuring 6" x 6.25". The framed certificate showcases the dynamic original art along with both sides of the gold-plated coin. The text at the bottom of the artwork, which highlights the message on the back of the coin, is translated as: "From the Exhibitors of Mexico as a testimony of Admiration/Cecil B. DeMille/1928. This award pairing was given to DeMille just before his transition into sound films with Dynamite in 1929. Awards exhibit storage wear. Framed art exhibits minor chipping and deterioration of frame backing. Coin exhibits oxidation on profile side. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
