The Ten Commandments (Paramount, 1923), Pair of Horse Headdresses. Vintage pair of regal horse headdresses crafted from wood and peacock feathers; wood crown measures 13" x 2.5" with an approx. height of 24". Ornate headdresses each feature bowed wood crown accented with 10 golden cobra heads that surround the base - with 6 brown peacock feathers jutting from the top. These elaborate headdresses can be seen very prominently during the Exodus scene when Ramses (Charles de Rochefort) sends six hundred chariots in pursuit of the Hebrews. Headdresses exhibit production wear, minor cracking, paint chipping, and loose components. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
