Description

"Hit Me" Card Game from The Price Is Right (CBS TV, 1972-1980). "Hit Me" pricing game based on the card game blackjack and used during the Bob Barker era of this beloved daytime television game show, The Price Is Right, beginning on November 7, 1980. Constructed of plywood in the shape of a card gambling table and covered in light blue felt with applied vinyl letters with metal frame on the back affixed to a carpet-covered base on casters. The sign sits on legs that bear the show's distinctive $ sign logos. The House "rules" and $ logos are hand-painted to appear like a burnished metal surface. The playing cards are made from sturdy card stock and measure 8.75" x 6" and are fixed to the sign for display. Measures 73.75" H x 68" W and mounted on a 61" x 25.5" x 4.5" base. The game exhibits some scuffs and edge wear with a small cracked area on the back near the metal bracket frame, but remains in Very Good condition. Acquired from Fremantle Media after the prize board was retired in January of 2008,
