Who Framed Roger Rabbit (Buena Vista, 1988), Christopher Lloyd "Judge Doom" Mechanical Cape. Original black nylon cape with satin lining incorporating metal rods that enable the cape to open on command which are attached to a back brace the wearer puts on with nylon belts. Cape has gathered shoulders and a wide, loose collar. Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd) wears this cape when he gets flattened by a steamroller, revealing his true identity as a disguised toon. Doom leaps into the air towards Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), with the cape expanding to assist in his flight. Harness measures 13" x 5" and cape rods measure 46". Displays production wear and age. There is also soiling as well as minor rips and holes. Mechanics not tested. Special shipping arrangements will apply. Obtained from Sotheby's, August 22, 1991, Lot #26.
