Beetlejuice (Warner Bros., 1988), (7) Replica "Killer Shrimp" Puppets from the Dinner Party Sequence. Replica shrimp arm puppets constructed of slip cast latex gloves expertly reproduced by Beetlejuice effects artist Robert Short for Planet Hollywood. In one of the film's most memorable scenes, the dinner party spontaneously erupts into a rendition of Harry Belafonte's "Banana Boat" song which climaxes when the guests are attacked by their shrimp cocktails. These "Killer Shrimp" puppets were cast from the same molds as the originals and measure 21.25" long. Exhibiting production handling, wear, and age, with chipped paint. Obtained from Robert Short. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
