The Nightmare Before Christmas (Touchstone/Walt Disney, 1993), Zero "Happy" Head Master Mold. Original plaster master mold measuring 4.5" x 3.5" x 3" and featuring 3-holes on the top, bottom, and rear to allow silicone mixtures to be poured into the casting. As part of the production process, the mold has been split into 4-separate components. Top of mold has "Zero Happy" written into the ceramic clay. Crafted at Tim Burton and Henry Selick's Skellington Production, this mold was used to bring to life the lovable companion, Zero, expertly adapting Burton's unique illustration style. Interior of mold contains a silicone head measuring 1" x 3" which was used to make the final foam latex puppetry head used in the film. Displays general production handling and wear with remnants of the casting process throughout. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
