Description

Titanic (TCF, 1997), Emergency Fire Axe Box. Original red painted wooden box with 2-metal handles attached inside to hold an emergency fire axe. The box has a sealed, hinged wooden door with glass that reads "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY SEEK OFFICER FOR ASSISTANCE" in red painted letters, and a brass-colored faux lock. The top of the box has 1-piece of wood trim that is not painted where an additional framing piece was once attached. Measures 46" x 19.5" x 5". Displays production wear and age. Axe not included. Obtained from Twentieth Century Fox. Provenance: Heritage Auctions "Treasures from Planet Hollywood", March 24, 2024. Lot 24. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
