Kiki's Delivery Service (Studio Ghibli, 1989), "Kiki" Production Cel. Original hand-painted production cel measuring 14" x 9" marked "B-29" on the top right corner with 3-peg holes across the top edge featuring a close-up shot of the adventurous junior witch, Kiki, mid-flight with a determined, but nervous look on her face. Accompanying the lot is a printed background landscape of a village bay at night. Studio Ghibli, founded in 1985 by the renowned animator and filmmaker, Hayao Miyazaki, is responsible for bringing to life some of the most beloved animated classics of all time. Known for their distinct and whimsical style, often featuring magical and spiritual undertones, Ghibli has made a definitive mark on the animation industry and brought their unique vision to the world.
