Jean Stapleton "Edith Bunker" Green Floral Dress from All in the Family (CBS TV, 1971-1979). Edith Bunker distinctive green, short-sleeve day dress with floral basket and ribbon print with lower front pleats, zipper front closure, and belt waist tie. It was worn by Jean Stapleton, the soft-spoken, kind-hearted wife, as she stifled and shuffled in the service of her blustering husband, Archie Bunker, played by Carroll O'Connor, in this critically acclaimed, Norman Lear-created television show, All in the Family. It exhibits minor toning commensurate with age and light production wear, but remains in very good vintage condition overall. Acquired directly from series creator, Mr. Norman Lear.
