Description

Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) Battle Ensemble with Action Weapons from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 7). Original (10) piece character ensemble including (1) brown leather doublet with capped sleeves, square quilting, and center-front lacing (with "Arya" bias label), (1) gray open-weave cotton shirt with double yoke and filigree ends on ties, (1) brown square laser cut skirt with rust brown sleeveless body with ties at front (with "Arya" bias label), (1) sand stretch suede trousers with laced front (with "Arya, Hero" bias label), (1) skinny brown leather belt with line embossing and buckle, (1) pair of brown leather gauntlet gloves with trim stitched seam (with "Maisie [sic] Williams written in blue ink in both), (1) pair brown leather riding boots, (1) leather scabbard with hangers, (1) leather dagger sheath, (1) rubber 'catspaw' dagger measuring 17.5" x 1.5", and (1) rubber 'needle' sword measuring 30.5" x 2". Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) wears this ensemble in Season 7, Episode 7, "The Dragon and the Wolf," when she and her siblings, Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright), confront Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish (Aiden Gillen) for his crimes against House Stark. Arya ultimately uses the catspaw dagger, gifted to her by her brother, to enact Stark justice on Petyr's throat. Costume designer Michele Clapton explained the thought process behind Arya's outfit: "Arya's clothing reflects her status as a warrior who must be ready to fight at any moment." Williams also shared her thoughts on Arya's battle outfit, saying, "Arya's outfit is designed for agility and combat readiness, reflecting her journey and the skills she has honed over the series. It's a functional yet symbolic representation of her character." Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss emphasized the significance of this confrontation: "We wanted to bring full circle the treachery that began with Ned Stark's downfall. Having Arya deliver the final blow with the catspaw dagger was symbolic of the Stark family's resilience and unity."? Exhibits production wear, including scuffing and fading. Comes with a COA from HBO and Heritage Auctions.
