Description

Brendan Gleason "Hamish" Screen Matched Shield from the Final Battle in Braveheart (Paramount, 1995). Original red Scottish heater shield depicting screen matching sword-in-hand paint detailing and distress. Constructed of wood and leather with two crossed leather hand straps fastened to the back retaining production tape with "Hamish SC 376" printed in ink. Braveheart won the 1996 Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Cinematography. Shield measures 25" x 21.25". Exhibiting production distress and handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
