Brendan Gleason "Hamish" Screen Matched Shield from the Battle of Stirling in Braveheart (Paramount, 1995). Original shield carried by Hamish (Gleason) in the Battle of Stirling scenes with screen matched battle damage. Constructed of wood and steel studio distressed with battle damage and oxidation. Retains production tape with "Hamish Stirling" printed in ink and measures 24" in diameter x 4.5". Braveheart won the 1996 Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Cinematography. Exhibiting production distress and handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
