Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (Paramount TV, 1992-1999), Jem'Hadar Headpiece by Michael Westmore. Original foam latex Jem'Hadar alien headpiece with applied resin head spikes and attached chest plate by Michael Westmore for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1992-1999) measuring approx. 25" x 12" x 8". Painted dark gray, brown, and caramel yellow for the head spikes and affixed with brown hair in ponytail characteristic of the race. Remnant of breathing device present near jawline. The Jem'Hadar were a genetically engineered humanoid species with reptilian and rhinoceros-like features, first introduced in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. They were designed by Michael Westmore, who served as chief makeup designer for the franchise during this period. Exhibits some flakiness and splits to the latex due to production wear and aging. Mounted on a soft foam form affixed to a wooden stand on an 8.25" x 6.25" wooden base. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions. From the Personal Collection of Michael Westmore.
