Description
Conan the Barbarian (Universal, 1982), Arnold Schwarzenegger "Conan" Group of (3) Replica Atlantean Swords. Group of (3) replica Atlantean swords hand-made by renowned swordsmith, Tony Swatton. Swords feature hand-ground, carbon steel blades heat-treated for durability and deliberately kept unsharpened for safety. Metal handguard and pommel are intricately sculpted using the lost-wax casting process and each handle is wrapped in twine for grip and comfort. Atlantean inscriptions are meticulously added to each blade using electrical discharge machining. Both swords are 39.5" long, including the hilt. Originally designed by production designer Ron Cobb and crafted by master sword maker Jody Samson, Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) discovers the iconic Atlantean Sword in the burial tomb of an ancient Atlantean warrior, and it serves as his signature weapon for the rest of the film. Pieces exhibit general age and display wear. Obtained from Tony Swatton. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.Heritage Auctions provides as much information as possible but strongly encourages in-person inspection.
