Description

Batman Vintage Film Collectible Lot (Various, 1966). Lights, camera, Gotham! This vintage Batman lot brings together an exciting mix of 1966 film-based collectibles from GAF, Chad Valley, Columbia Pictures, and View-Master-each one a window into the golden age of Bat-entertainment. The collection begins with Batman and Robin in Embers of Evil, an 8mm home movie that lets fans relive animated heroics one frame at a time. Included are both Sawyer's and GAF's Batman View-Master sets, with one edition still sealed in original cellophane and another set of three reels sealed on its original card. Also featured is the Techno Film Batman Super 8 Color Home Movie, pristine in its factory wrap, and the Pix-a-Go-Go Batman with Robin the Boy Wonder, packed with eight thrilling episodes. Adding a theatrical twist is the GAF Tru-Vu Magic Eyes Batman and Robin Meet the Catwoman Story Set, featuring 21 stereo pictures and three vibrant story cards. The Chad Valley Give-A-Show Projector Slides offer four complete stories of Batman and other classic TV favorites. Completing the lineup is the Batman Argus Action Viewer, a hand-held viewer designed to play Columbia 8mm films or any home movie without the need for a projector or screen. Each item shows signs of handling wear including edge and corner creases, surface scuffing, and scratches. The Columbia viewer's bubble has cracking wear along the bottom and surface tears in the lower right corner. A cinematic celebration of Batman's mid-60s multimedia rise.
