Chris Evans "Captain America" Prop "Vibranium" Shield from Avengers: Age of Ultron (Marvel, 2015). Original superhero shield prop. "Captain America" (Evans), who's signature shield can be seen throughout the Marvel universe, received an updated model for the sequel to the blockbuster superhero ensemble film The Avengers. This specific 24.4" x 2.5" shield was created to be worn on actor Chris Evan's back, and features a separate metal plate with nylon back straps outfitted with push-clips that attach to the back of the shield via bolts. This piece was custom made by the production and features a dense cast urethane rubber construction which allowed for a lighter weight but sturdy shield the actor would be able to use during action sequences. The shield has been expertly painted to resemble powder coated steel with red and blue detailing and the signature star in the middle. The shield has been expertly studio distressed by production to look used and battle-worn. Exhibiting minor production wear. In Very Good condition. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
