The Party (United Artists, 1968), Peter Sellers "Hrundi V. Bakshi" Suit. Vintage original raw tan silk two-piece suit worn by Peter Sellers as Hrundi V. Bakshi in Blake Edwards' comedy classic The Party (1968), including (1) jacket with notched lapels, chest pocket, 2- hip flap pockets, and button front closure, and (1) matching pair of zip-front pants with cuffed hems. Both garments feature internal Western Costume Co. bias labels with typewritten "Peter Sellers" information and stamped production details inside the jacket lining. Sellers wears this distinctive suit throughout the film, portraying a well-meaning but accident-prone Indian actor who finds himself at the center of chaos during a lavish Hollywood party. Exhibits production wear, including minor tearing to the interior lining. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
