Batman: The Movie (TCF, 1966), Burgess Meredith "Penguin" Replica Pre-Nuclear Submarine. Homemade miniature replica "Pre-Nuclear Submarine", the dangerous watercraft armed with torpedoes and missiles used by pirates loyal to Penguin (Burgess Meredith) to terrorize Gotham City in the feature film version of the beloved series. Constructed of a resin and wooden hull measuring approx. 15" long with applied fins to front and rear and sculpted beak to front, painted black, orange and yellow to appear as an elongated penguin in the shape of a submarine, with glued-on penguin accessories to the upper deck and accompanied by a resin display base in the shape of the rocky sea floor with typed label "SS PENGUIN". This whimsical replica was hand-built and lovingly painted as a faithful miniature replica of the original craft and exhibits some knicks and scratches with 2- rear fins detached but present, needing repair.
