The Marvelettes Smash Hits of 1962 Rare White Label Promo Vinyl LP (Tamla 229). An extremely rare copy of the Marvelettes' quickly-made second album to capitalize on the group's success. This is a white label promo copy with stickers for "Chips / Ed / Cotlar" on both sides. Also known as The Marvelettes Sing, this has Gladys Horton, Wanda Young, Georgeanna Tillman, Katherine Anderson, and Juanita Cowart in the group. And there are no less than three songs on here with "twist" in the title. The sleeve is in VG-EX 6 condition and the disc is in EX 7 condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
