The Honeymooners (CBS TV, 1955-1956), Group of Hand-Crafted Statuettes. Original group of (4) plaster statuettes by sculptor Richard Masloski, depicting the four central characters of the beloved sitcom series The Honeymooners (CBS TV, 1955-1956), hand-painted to faithfully depict the likenesses of Ralph Kramden (Jackie Gleason), Ed Norton (Art Carney), Alice Kramden (Audrey Meadows), and Trixie Norton (Joyce Randolph), each with highly detailed facial features, expressions, poses, and signature clothing. Richard Masloski was a midcentury sculptor from New York, working predominantly with bronze and clay, and is most known for his depictions of iconic American figures, ranging from Abraham Lincoln to Elvis Presley. Each statue stands 12" tall and mounted to a gunmetal gray-painted base measuring approx. 4.75" in diameter, with each signed "Richard Masloski" "1984" in varying degrees of legibility. Statuettes exhibiting expected age and wear, with some paint loss, scuffs, and soiling present. Overall in wonderful handmade condition.
