I Dream of Jeannie (NBC TV, 1965-1970), Barbara Eden "Jeannie" Costume Top. Vintage original cropped, fitted top constructed with dark-pink velvet and short sleeves made of lighter pink chiffon. The top and sleeves are embellished with pink gimp braid trim and features a zipper closure and 2-hook and eye closures on the front of the bodice. On the back neckline is a label handwritten in ink that reads "Eden." This costume was worn by Barbara Eden in her iconic role as Jeannie. The fantasy sitcom series featured Eden as the 2,000-year-old genie who falls in love with Tony Nelson, an astronaut played by Larry Hagman. This particular top was exclusively worn in the first season, prior to her costume change to a bra top paired with a bolero-style jacket. Exhibits age and production wear. Internal threads are beginning to unravel, and each sleeve displays minor tears. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
