GOT TO GET THIS INTO YOUR LIFE - 9.2 AND SIGNED BY WES

The Beatles 1966 Candlestick Park Final Show Poster Signed by Wes Wilson, Graded 9.2 (AOR-1.115). An original concert-advertising cardboard window card for the Beatles' last-ever show, August 29, 1966 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, CA (now demolished). This poster was hand-signed by poster artist Wes Wilson, the dean of San Francisco psychedelic concert poster design, and graded a beautiful 9.2 Near Mint Minus by the Certified Guarantee Company (CGC).

Although it's in the shadow of our previous lot, this is still a coveted Beatles concert poster that almost everyone wants. We could never get enough of them, but of course they're scarce because this first printing was done before the show for the purpose of selling tickets, so there are very few around and everyone who has one wants to keep it. Especially if it's graded in the 9's, because the black color so easily picked up white creases with handling, so very few remain with the word "Mint" in their official grading. Then you have the huge bonus of Mr. Wilson himself hand-signing this specimen in black pen above his printed name, and since he passed away last year, there will never be any more of these signed. Measures 17 1/4" x 24 1/4" and grades to 9.2 Near Mint Minus. From the Fred Weinberg Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
