Elephant Walk (Paramount, 1954), Elizabeth Taylor "Ruth Wiley" Costume Sketch for White Dress with Gold Embellishment by Edith Head. Vintage original Elephant Walk (1954) costume sketch accomplished in gouache, graphite and ink on 14" x 16.5" artist's paper by legendary costume designer Edith Head. Full-length sketch of Ruth Wiley (Elizabeth Taylor) in a white dress featuring two side panels extending from the waist to the hem. In the sketch, the neckline appears decorated, though in the film this is represented by Taylor's iconic elephant necklace. The sleeves, which show embellishment in the sketch, are plain in the final dress. Taylor's name appears at the top right, along with production notes. Head's signature is at the bottom right corner. Exhibiting age and production handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
