Lost in Space (CBS TV, 1965-1968), Angela Cartwright "Penny Robinson" Parka. Vintage original Penny Robinson (Angela Cartwright) gold and crème patterned carpet bag parka with fleece lining, faux fur rimmed integral hood, zipper front closure and cotton hood ties. Retaining internal Saks Fifth Avenue maker's label and Western Costume Co. bias label handwritten, "20." Penny's parka was featured prominently in the first season of the sci-fi family sitcom Lost in Space, notably in episodes featuring cold weather environments, including the unaired pilot Episode, "No Place to Hide", which depicts an alternative beginning to the series in which the Robinson family crash-lands on a habitable although hostile planet, and are forced to venture through harsh terrain to set up their new home. Lot also includes a pair of black Chelsea-style boots, gloves, leggings, and cream-colored mock turtleneck for display purposes. Exhibits age and light production wear. Stewart took great pride in displaying his collection and had many custom-built mannequins in the likeness of the character made for his costumes. This lot includes one of those mannequins, which is in used and well-loved condition and will require special shipping. The option is yours if you would like to receive the mannequin.
