20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Tomorrowland Disneyland Attraction Poster (Walt Disney Productions, 1955). Vintage original hand-pulled silkscreened poster measuring 36" x 54" and designed by renowned Disney artist Bjorn Aronson. On July 17th, 1955, only a select number of Disney attractions were deemed worthy of receiving their own posters for opening day, with the Jules Verne nautical adventure 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea being one of the few. Located in Tomorrowland, the walk-through exhibit featured artifacts and set pieces from the 1954 live-action hit movie of the same name including the famed Nautilus submarine. This striking attraction entrance poster promotes the exhibit and features a stylized image of the famous giant squid underneath a vibrant Day-Glo title. Displays edge and corner wear with a few minor interior scuffs with a 1.5" and 7" tear across the top of the poster repaired with clear tape across the back. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
