Description
Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad Disneyland Attraction Poster (Walt Disney Productions, 1955). Vintage original hand-pulled silkscreened poster measuring 36" x 54" and designed by renowned Disney artist Bjorn Aronson. Constructed by WED Enterprises and conceived by Walt Disney himself, the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad is a staple of the "Happiest Place on Earth," having been present since Disneyland's grand opening on July 17th, 1955. Inspired by Walt Disney's miniature Carolwood Pacific Railroad he built in his own backyard, the attraction spans a majority of the park during its 18-minute, 1.2-mile journey. The poster, with a bold pink, blue, and black illustration of the famed locomotive, lists the ride's entrance depots found at Main St., Frontierland, and Fantasyland. Walt Disney's fondness of trains and wonder are pillars of the creativity and ingenuity that brought Disneyland to life. Displays edge and corner wear with instances of clear tape across the back, creases, a few minor scuffs, and subtle tearing along the border. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
