Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) Action Longsword and Dagger with Scabbard, Sheath, and Frog from Game of Thrones (HBO® Original 2011-2019, Season 1). Original group of (4) character armory accessories including (1) action longsword measuring 45" x 9", studio-crafted from high-density rubber for blade, crossguard, hilt and pommel, painted with elaborate gold colors with a white grip and brass Lannister lion's head pommel, (1) static dagger hilt and sheath measuring approx. 20.5" x 2.75" studio-crafted rubber hilt with reptile-embossed leather, gold-mandala adornments and silver-colored (pewter) accents (1) scabbard measuring 35" x 3.5" reptile-embossed leather, gold-mandala adornments and silver-colored (pewter) accents and (1) leather sword frog. Jaime Lannister's (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) armory accessories appear in Season 1, Episode 5, "The Wolf and the Lion," when Jaime fights Ned Stark (Sean Bean) outside a brothel in King's Landing. During the battle, Jaime stabs Jory Cassel (Jamie Sives) through the eye with his dagger, then faces off against Ned with this sword. Although the battle seems even at first, with both swordsmen exhibiting different styles and tactics, Ned gains the upper hand until a Lannister soldier puts a spear through his leg. Tommy Dunne, the armorer, detailed the creation of Jaime's weapons. "Jaime's swords needed to reflect his status as a skilled and noble warrior. We crafted them to be both visually impressive and functional for intense fight scenes," Dunne explained. "Each sword had intricate designs that represented Jaime's noble lineage and fighting prowess." Showrunner David Benioff emphasized the importance of this scene. "The duel between Jaime and Ned is a pivotal moment that showcases their differing philosophies and the high stakes of their conflict," Benioff stated. D.B. Weiss added, "It's not just a physical battle but also a battle of wills, setting the stage for the complex dynamics between the Starks and the Lannisters." All items exhibit production wear, fading, scuffing, and oxidation. Dagger remains affixed within sheath. Comes with a COA from HBO and Heritage Auctions.
