Description
Hellboy II: The Golden Army (Universal, 2008), Anna Walton "Princess Nuala" Screen Used Hero Last Piece of The Crown of Bethmora. This original crown fragment is the final piece of the legendary Crown of Bethmora, the artifact that grants control over the unstoppable Golden Army. Beautifully crafted of ornate gold-toned resin with metal plate backing, this pivotal relic was hidden by Princess Nuala (Anna Walton) inside a book of Alfred Lord Tennyson's poetry, specifically in the pages of In Memoriam. This hiding place becomes significant when Abe Sapien (Doug Jones), having previously shared a moment with Nuala while reading the poem, later realizes where she has concealed the artifact, making it a crucial turning point in the film's story. Measures 4.4" x 2.75" x .25". Exhibits light production wear. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions."Two hero crown pieces were created for the film: one that fits the crown and another that fits the princess's belt. This is that hero piece. We wanted it to feel special - constructed and not just cast - as if forged by the goblin masters. A lot of intricate work went into this prop, and it paid off on screen!" From the personal collection of Guillermo del Toro.
